The Cincinnati-Hamilton County Community Action Agency (CHCCAA) is a nonprofit focused on helping individuals and families out of poverty through services like job training, housing assistance, and Head Start. As a paper-driven, heavily grant-funded organization, CHCCAA needed to move to a paperless environment and better manage complex federal grants, job costing, indirect costs, and multi-year accounting processes. It turned to PyanGo, a NetSuite-native financial solution, to extend its ERP capabilities.
With PyanGo, CHCCAA automated grants management, distributions, and accounting workflows, helping the finance team eliminate many manual journal entries and adjust-to-actual tasks. The result was a more paperless operation, fewer errors, and major time savings—Proffitt noted the solution could help the organization function with one accounts payable clerk instead of potentially three, making PyanGo a far lower-cost option than hiring additional staff.
