GB News, one of the UK’s newest TV channels, needed a single supplier to reliably deliver web and app push notifications for breaking news, editorial content, and membership updates as quickly as possible. They chose Pushwoosh and its API-driven push notification platform to let editors trigger pushes directly from their CMS without leaving their publishing workflow.

With Pushwoosh, GB News was able to connect TV coverage with online conversations, run A/B/n tests to improve timing, and combine push data with Piano Analytics for better audience insights. The results included 12M push notifications per day, growth to 1.2M push subscribers, a 0.75% average CTR, and improved app retention, with D30 retention reaching 8.55%.
