Telepizza, one of the largest pizza restaurant chains worldwide (operating in Spain, the UK, Switzerland and other markets), needed to increase sales and revenue by notifying customers about special offers and events at their nearest restaurants. To address this, Telepizza partnered with Pushwoosh and its push-notification marketing tools (geozone and broadcast notifications) to reach app users with timely, location-based offers.

Pushwoosh implemented customizable geozone pushes (typically 300–500 m radius) that trigger when customers approach a restaurant, alongside broadcast notifications to Telepizza’s 850,000 app subscribers. The campaign delivered strong results: broadcast pushes show ~0.8% CTR and a 4–7% conversion rate, meaning a single push can generate roughly 300–450 orders (about $2,400–$3,600, assuming a minimum $8 order), driving measurable incremental revenue for Telepizza.
