A Pushpay Case Study
Dunwoody United Methodist Church, a large multi-generational congregation, faced a significant challenge with its outdated and inefficient Church Management Software (ChMS). Their legacy system contained largely inaccurate member data, hindering new Senior Pastor Phil Shrader's goal to measure and increase engagement in key church activities. The church needed a new, integrated solution to provide reliable data and analytical tools.
The church chose to implement Church Community Builder (CCB), a ChMS that integrates with the vendor, Pushpay. The solution was selected for being highly integrated, member-oriented, and comprehensive, particularly in its ability to track statistics, metrics, and attendance. This integration with Pushpay was a key factor in the decision. With a committed implementation team, DUMC successfully adopted the new system to better engage its congregation and achieve its growth goals.
