Case Study: Timeero achieves real-time job updates and fewer support issues with Pusher Beams

A Pusher Case Study

Preview of the Timeero Case Study

Pain-free field service operations with Timeero and Pusher Beams

Timeero, a field service management (FSM) app that provides job scheduling, mileage tracking and timesheet management for mobile and offsite workers, faced the challenge of keeping a fully remote, deskless workforce immediately up to date when schedules changed. After struggling with Twilio for notifications, Timeero engaged Pusher and implemented Pusher Beams to deliver event-driven push notifications tied to schedule and job events.

Pusher implemented Beams so schedule updates (for example, when a user is assigned a job) are pushed instantly to workers’ smartphones without requiring a manual sync, and integrated Authenticated Users so notifications are personalized to each device. The result was immediate realtime updates, a massive reduction in support issues and significant time savings for Timeero’s team; Pusher’s responsive support also smoothed iOS-specific challenges, and Timeero is now expanding its use of Pusher tools (including Channels for live location) to add more realtime features.
