Harry & David Got 15% Subscription Rate Using Web Push Notification

Harry & David, a premium food and gourmet gifts retailer in the 1-800-Family of Brands, needed a way to convert site visitors into repeat customers and move perishable inventory quickly. They chose the PushEngage web push notification platform to capture subscribers, boost engagement, deliver instant promotional updates, and automate messaging across the customer journey.

Using PushEngage’s single-step opt-in, automated drip and cart-abandonment campaigns, A/B testing, and segmentation, Harry & David achieved a 15% subscription rate (about 600K new subscribers), a 16% CTR on cart-abandonment pushes that drove roughly 15% of push revenue, and a 5% CTR from welcome drip messages (5.4% of push revenue).
