Wood Green, The Animals Charity installs Purple WiFi

Wood Green, The Animals Charity operates large, busy sites in London and Godmanchester and needed a reliable, insight-driven WiFi solution to replace an old paid system that gave no visitor data. The charity required a platform that worked across multiple buildings and acres, delivered tangible ROI for fundraising, and supported targeted marketing. They chose Purple and its Purple WiFi guest service (guest WiFi, content filtering and presence analytics) with installation help from KTS Computers Ltd using 23 Meraki access points.

Purple’s Purple WiFi platform was deployed to capture visitor identities and movement, enable content filtering and provide presence analytics via the Purple Portal. In the first four months the system recorded over 1,000 logins (almost 70% via social media), with 58% of logins from women and Facebook the most popular login method — data that now lets Wood Green target appeals by area visited and improve fundraising. Wood Green and installer KTS praised Purple for delivering a flexible, cost-effective solution that turned a wasted marketing opportunity into measurable insight.
