Wok&Go worked with Purple (alongside hospitality guest WiFi specialists Smarter WiFi) to tackle low awareness of in-branch weekly offers and limited direct marketing reach from social channels. The challenge was to capture customer contact data and drive footfall to specific sites—particularly their Manchester Piccadilly branch—so they could promote offers more effectively.
Using the Purple-powered captive login portal and built-in WiFi analytics and SMS marketing tools, Wok&Go collected 264 new customer records during a seven-day promotion and sent an SMS campaign. The result: 98 redemptions (a 37.12% conversion rate), over £450 in revenue from that week, and ongoing data capture across eight restaurants (about 650 new records per month), demonstrating the Purple solution’s measurable impact.
