Sofology, the UK’s fastest-growing sofa specialist, faced the challenge of converting the many store visitors who did not engage with sales staff. To capture and act on in-store behavior, Sofology worked with Purple to deploy guest WiFi and visitor analytics that feed customer data into their CRM and help target non-engaging visitors with tailored follow-ups.
Purple implemented a branded splash-page WiFi with social/login registration and real‑time integration to Sofology’s Exponea CRM (supported by CDW and Cisco Meraki hardware). In the first three months Purple helped install 124 Meraki APs and capture over 1,500 CRM records (75% new); overall Sofology has collected 11,155 customer records (90% previously unknown). That data drove 329 orders (2,121% ROI), offline-to-online follow-ups that returned 274% ROI, and 372 new MySofology accounts—40% of whom purchased—delivering a 1,061% ROI on MySofology-driven orders.
