Snow Factor, part of the same group as the Ice Factor and Bar Varia, struggled to capture visitor contact details from its free guest WiFi, leaving its marketing team unable to target events and promotions effectively. They engaged Purple (deployed by Smarter WiFi using TP-Link hardware) to provide a guest WiFi and analytics platform that was easy for visitors to use and simple for the marketing team to extract data from.

Purple implemented fully branded splash pages and social logins across the sites (trial in June 2016, full rollout July 2016), driving a 61% week‑on‑week increase in connections during the trial and a 164% increase in logins over six months. The solution generated over 14,000 new CRM records in the first six months (2,863 users in January alone), increased social logins to 47%, and delivered stronger email marketing reach—making Purple a core part of Snow Factor’s data-capture strategy.
