A Purple Case Study
Ringlings College, a leading art and design school with more than 1,600 undergraduates and a new $18M Alfred R. Goldstein Library, needed an easy-to-update, contactless way for students to find book collections, study rooms and donor-named sections as layouts changed. To meet those needs and reduce staff interaction post-COVID, the college partnered with Purple to deploy interactive wayfinding and digital signage technology.
Purple installed a state-of-the-art wall-mounted interactive kiosk running its Wayfinder wayfinding and digital signage, providing turn-by-turn indoor directions to library sections and 30 campus buildings, plus a donor page and remote content updates. The Purple solution delivered 24/7 self-service navigation for students, reduced reliance on reception staff and potential virus transmission, and made it simple to update maps and highlight donors and events.
