Purple’s free product is a hit with award-winning polo club

Dallas Burston Polo Club, a 600‑acre hospitality and events venue, needed a low‑cost way to offer public WiFi that let visitors share experiences online and raise the club’s social media profile. Smart Wireless recommended and installed Purple’s solution, deploying Purple Free (with Cisco Meraki hardware) so the club could deliver free, fast WiFi without large guest‑WiFi fees.

Purple Free provided fully branded login pages and analytics to track sessions, demographics, venue usage and social interaction. Since going live in June 2017 the system has attracted almost 1,600 users, driven a 63% increase in Facebook likes per month, doubled the mailing list in the first week, and contributed to busier weekends (around 150 covers) and extended opening hours—demonstrating Purple’s measurable impact on engagement and revenue.
