Purple’s all-inclusive solution checks in at the Eldan Hotel

Eldan Hotel Jerusalem needed to offer free, reliable guest WiFi and boost the number of TripAdvisor reviews but lacked staff time and guest data to do so. They worked with Purple (deployed by Boot Net Ltd on Ruckus hardware) to use Purple’s cloud-based guest WiFi, analytics and the new TripAdvisor connector to capture guest information and encourage on‑site and post‑stay reviews.

Purple rolled out a fully branded splash‑page WiFi across all 76 rooms and public areas, capturing user data into the Purple Portal and exporting it to the hotel’s database while automatically prompting TripAdvisor reviews. The results: almost 1,000 logins in the first month, users increasing up to 50% week‑on‑week, an average 5 hours per user per day on WiFi, and a 218% increase in TripAdvisor reviews (Jan–Feb). Purple’s solution also enabled targeted marketing to drive more direct bookings.
