A Purple Case Study
Liverpool ONE, a 42-acre shopping, residential and leisure complex in Liverpool, faced Covid-era closures and needed a fast, safe way to monitor visitor sentiment and rebuild repeat visits without costly in-person research. Previously they relied on agencies that took over two months to report and cost around £30 per response, so they sought an autonomous, low-cost alternative using the tools they already had.
Liverpool ONE used Purple’s Microsurvey within their WiFi Analytics subscription to deploy a four-question in‑WiFi survey, collecting 791 responses from 818 logins (a 97% conversion) and delivering real-time insights. Purple’s solution let the team act quickly to improve cleanliness, friendliness and safety (79–81% scoring 4+), drove a 5% uplift in repeat visits, saved an estimated £23,730 in one month (≈£285,000 annualised) and increased annual revenue by an estimated £487,000.
