Telecom Personal Fest 2017 needed high-density, branded event WiFi that could both deliver fast connectivity to festival-goers and capture attendee data to support sponsors and marketing. Working with eFan, the organisers deployed Purple’s Platform — including a captive online portal and analytics software integrated with Cisco Meraki — to identify visitors and replace anonymous footfall with actionable audience insight.
Purple’s solution used social logins, customized splash pages, real-time analytics and CRM integration to power engagement and campaigns. The results: over 10,000 attendees logged in, more than 10,000 email addresses captured, Facebook accounted for 60% of logins, demographics and interests (60% female; top countries Argentina, Chile, Uruguay; top interests music, sports, cinema) were identified, and e-shot/SMS campaigns drove measurable sponsor engagement. Purple’s dashboard and support enabled segmented, trackable communications and secured ongoing use of the Purple Platform for future events.
