Buenos Aires Trap - Customer Case Study

Buenos Aires Trap, a large millennial festival held at Hipódromo de Palermo with roughly 21,000 attendees, faced poor cellular coverage that threatened guests’ ability to follow set times, stay in touch with friends, and access event updates. Organizers engaged Purple to provide a dedicated guest WiFi solution to solve these connectivity challenges.

Purple deployed its guest WiFi network across the venue using more than 100 Meraki access points (with assistance from Efan), delivering broad coverage and real‑time reporting for organizers. The system supported 1,500 connections during the 12‑hour event (about 10% of attendees), attracted media attention from Infobae and Billboard, and provided actionable data for future large events.
