A Pure Storage Case Study
Timewarp IT Consulting GmbH, a Vienna-based hybrid cloud provider founded in 2001 with several hundred customers, needed to deliver maximum availability and predictable performance for database- and disk-intensive workloads. Lacking tier‑1 storage and disaster‑recovery services, the company required a simpler, more scalable storage foundation to support growing customer demand and new service offerings.
Timewarp deployed Pure Storage all‑flash arrays integrated into its Hyper‑V clusters across two Austrian datacenters, enabling disaster‑recovery-as-a-service and plug‑and‑play expansion. The move delivered SSD‑class performance (<1 ms latency, 8 Gbps bandwidth), 900% deduplication for cloud servers, roughly two‑thirds reduction in storage administration time, and a full cabinet of space plus ~4 kW energy savings—while significantly improving availability, scalability and manageability.
