Pure Storage Accelerates Growth of Ingenico Financial Solutions

Ingenico Group, a global leader in integrated payment services with a fast‑growing e‑payments division, needed a future‑proof shared storage solution for Ingenico Financial Solutions (IFS). The 30‑person IFS team—running a MariaDB‑based payment platform on VMware—faced roughly 300% annual growth and required ultra‑low latency, high IOPS and round‑the‑clock reliability to support at least 600 transactions per second.

In October 2015 IFS deployed two Pure Storage FlashArray//M20s (one per Brussels data center) and migrated databases, VMs and archives. The all‑flash arrays delivered 0.35 ms average latency, >100,000 IOPS capacity with ample headroom, 3.2:1 data reduction and have sustained 100% uptime with non‑disruptive updates and Pure1 remote support—freeing the team to focus on building innovative e‑payment solutions.
