Rapid growth—especially as it expanded from B2B into B2C—created exponential data growth for its Microsoft Dynamics CRM v4 environment, and the existing storage could not support the performance, scalability or reliability demands (upgrading the CRM software was not an option).

Optima worked with partner Filippetti to deploy a Pure Storage FlashArray and virtualize the CRM on VMware, using Pure1 for management; the compact array was installed in under a week. The result: 2.7:1 data reduction, sub‑millisecond latency, over 100K IOPS, and backup times cut from 4 to 2 hours—leading to much faster CRM responsiveness, fewer IT support requests, easier management, and a scalable, future‑proof infrastructure.
