A Pure Storage Case Study
Grupo Zeta is a 40‑year‑old Spanish publishing house producing 8 daily newspapers, 14 magazines and 50 corporate journals. Facing tight production deadlines, the company needed faster, higher‑capacity storage to virtualize about 50 Windows servers and reduce the time its IT team spent managing aging spinning‑disk arrays.
After a proof of concept, Grupo Zeta deployed a Pure Storage FlashArray (FA‑405). The new system delivered up to 30× faster data processing, 4× faster server provisioning, dramatically shorter rack‑to‑rack migrations (month → one week) and data reduction of up to 6:1, while cutting energy use and rack space. Remote management and Pure’s Evergreen model further reduced operational overhead and freed IT staff to focus on higher‑value work.
