A Pure Storage Case Study
FnGuide is a Korean financial data provider that collects, systematizes and delivers data, analytics and solutions to support investment and risk management. The company’s service development and operations were hampered by a legacy fibre‑channel storage environment: data replication took over 10 hours, SATA disks required frequent replacements, and storage latency slowed Oracle database processing and delayed services.
FnGuide replaced its legacy systems with Pure Storage FlashArray//M (deployed by partner Leading Point), gaining dramatic performance and efficiency improvements: replication dropped to under 1 hour, Oracle performance increased more than 3x and overall data analysis became ~5x faster. Availability rose to 99.9999% (>5x improvement), data reduction (3:1) cut rack space and power by about 80%, service delays were eliminated and customer experience improved.
