Bend Memorial Clinic, the largest independent healthcare provider in central Oregon, was suffering frequent, severe slowdowns from its legacy spinning‑disk storage. High latency and poor VDI performance slowed clinicians, hurt patient satisfaction, and threatened a planned EHR migration to Epic that required substantially higher IOPS.

BMC deployed a Pure Storage FlashArray, installed in about two hours, and saw immediate improvements: virtual desktop logins dropped from 1.5 minutes to seconds, latency fell to under 1 ms, storage‑related support tickets disappeared, and a Citrix VDI rollout and the Epic migration proceeded smoothly.
