Baxter, a multinational healthcare company, faced significant challenges in efficiently hiring for their early talent pipeline, specifically for Account Specialist Trainee and Technical Service Engineer roles. With high candidate volumes and a transition to an in-house acquisition model, their process was hampered by time-consuming phone screenings and a lack of an integrated platform. Baxter partnered with vendor Pulsifi and implemented their People Data Platform to streamline screening and find candidates with the right mix of skills and traits.

The Pulsifi solution used predictive models to holistically assess candidates, generating a "Fit Score" to instantly screen applicants. This streamlined the process, saving two-thirds of the time previously spent on screenings and allowing recruiters to focus on high-potential candidates. As a result, Baxter successfully hired the top 5% of candidates, all of whom completed their initial rotations with positive manager feedback.
