Orange City Council used Pulse Software’s Enterprise Risk Management module to improve how it managed, monitored, and reported strategic, operational, and project risks. The council needed a more consistent, standards-based approach after relying on manual, paper-based processes that limited version control, oversight, and communication across the organisation.

By extending its existing Pulse Corporate Planning & Reporting setup with Pulse Software’s ERM module, Orange City Council gained a centralized SaaS risk management system with integrated reporting and cross-module functionality. The implementation improved governance, compliance, visibility, and alignment with risk frameworks such as AS/NZS ISO 31000 and COSO, while enabling staff to track risks, controls, mitigation plans, and actions across the organisation.
