Case Study: Veropath streamlines internal communications and cuts costs with Pulsant's managed Microsoft Lync solution

A Pulsant Case Study

Preview of the Veropath Case Study

Pulsant works with Veropath to streamline its internal communications

Veropath, a provider of bespoke telecom expense management (TEM) solutions, faced rising costs and risk from a fragmented communications setup: an expensive web-based conferencing product, Skype for voice/IM without a business SLA or audit capability, and a need for unified voice, conferencing, video, IM and desktop sharing. Pulsant was engaged to assess requirements and recommended consolidating communications onto Microsoft Lync, delivered as a managed service under its Managed Applications and Managed Networks offering.

Pulsant ran a two‑week trial and completed a month‑long rollout with training, implementing Lync as the single enterprise voice and unified communications platform (inbound/outbound direct dial, mobile Lync on company iPhones, IM, screen sharing and federation with clients). The Pulsant-managed solution reduced conferencing bandwidth costs, enabled free VoIP calls to federated customers, improved service levels and availability during working hours, and sped up customer interactions through live demos and screen‑sharing.
