Youmanage, a provider of HR software combining people data, compliance and case management, needed to move hundreds of client databases and application code to a new secure hosting facility with minimal downtime — all over a single weekend. Having previously worked with Pulsant, Youmanage engaged the vendor to deliver a secure datacentre hosting solution (including Pulsant DDoS Protect) to meet business objectives of enhanced security and improved service.

Pulsant assigned a team of solutions architects, supplied a three-month validation platform and designed a resilient, scalable environment that doubled SQL and web servers and split data across two mirrored SQL pairs to ensure high availability. The migration was completed over one weekend, Pulsant’s ISO 27001-accredited estate plus DDoS Protect enhanced security and resilience, and Youmanage now has a scalable setup that supports its 99.9% SLA with minimal downtime and clear capacity to grow.
