Pulsant Ensures Scottish Mental Health Charity Keeps Lines of Communication Open

SAMH (the Scottish Association for Mental Health) supports over 2,500 people across more than 70 sites and was struggling with unreliable, “home‑style” broadband links that caused dropped connections and disrupted services. Having worked with Pulsant for more than 15 years for core network services, SAMH engaged Pulsant to deliver a Managed Networks/WAN solution using cost‑effective ADSL to replace multiple ISPs and centralise its network.

Pulsant implemented a consolidated ADSL managed WAN, simplifying routing and cutting the number of trace hops from 15 to just 2, which improved reliability, reduced disruption and kept costs down. The result is a more robust, secure centrally hosted network with strong ongoing support from Pulsant and measurable operational improvements for SAMH.
