Multrees strengthens IT infrastructure with Pulsant cloud services

Multrees Investor Services, a specialist provider of outsourced support to boutique asset managers and family offices, needed an agile, low-latency and highly secure infrastructure after its legacy datacentre partner could not meet responsiveness or proximity requirements. Multrees engaged Pulsant to migrate its estate to Pulsant’s Enterprise Cloud, using colocation at the Edinburgh Newbridge datacentre and Disaster Recovery as a Service (DRaaS) to meet regulatory and operational needs.

Pulsant built a geographically redundant cloud across three datacentres (Edinburgh Newbridge, Milton Keynes and Reading), enabling site-by-site backups, rapid failover (data can be moved between sites in minutes) and support for enterprise workloads such as Oracle, IBM WebSphere and Microsoft SQL Server Enterprise. The solution delivered improved security, increased uptime, faster scalability and greater responsiveness to client demands — measurable gains include multi-site redundancy, quicker recovery times and ongoing service reviews with Pulsant.
