The Box, a new attraction in Plymouth, sought to distinguish itself from other museums and galleries by creating an unforgettable and memorable immersive experience for visitors of all ages. Their challenge was to find a commanding technological centrepiece for a large room that would facilitate a sense of exploration. They engaged vendor Pufferfish to provide a solution using the PufferSphere product.

Pufferfish implemented the PufferSphere, a large spherical display with vibrant 4K visuals, as the installation's focal point. It was integrated with four touch-interactive kiosks, allowing for a user-focused, gamified approach to exploring the gallery's themes. This solution provided a unique and unforgettable experience for visitors, which successfully achieved The Box's original aim of setting itself apart from its competitors.
