RMT Web Editor reaches 85,000 members with Public-i livestreaming

The National Union of Rail, Maritime and Transport Workers (RMT) sought to increase transparency and member engagement by livestreaming its Annual General Meeting and other events. To achieve this, the union partnered with Public-i to implement a reliable live streaming service.

Public-i delivered a webcasting solution that enabled RMT to broadcast meetings live online. This service provided members with full access to the decision-making process, which encouraged more direct involvement and increased participation and attendance at the AGM. The solution successfully met all of RMT's requirements for their 85,000 members.
