Moray Council rolls out Connect Remote with Public-i for 4 virtual meetings

Moray Council faced the challenge of maintaining transparency for public meetings after the outbreak of Covid-19 forced them to move online. Their initial teleconference solution was laborious to manage and not visible to the public. The council turned to vendor Public-i and its newly developed Connect Remote platform to enable the live webcasting of virtual meetings.

Public-i's solution was implemented easily, with test meetings ensuring a smooth rollout. The results were highly successful, leading to four effective meetings and positive feedback from councillors and officers. This success allowed Moray Council to plan a full council meeting with all 26 members and to roll out the Connect Remote platform to all of its committee meetings. Public-i provided excellent support during the implementation.
