Birmingham City Council - Customer Case Study

Birmingham City Council worked with Public-i to refurbish the AV and webcasting setup in its Chamber and three committee rooms at the historic Town Hall in Victoria Square. The council needed a solution that would genuinely meet the needs of officers and members, with hybrid meeting capability, improved audio-visual performance, and a flexible conferencing system.

Public-i delivered a fully hybrid webcasting solution across all rooms, a high-grade controllable AV setup in the Chamber, and an integrated wireless Televic conference microphone system that could be used across multiple rooms. The project was completed in phases over several weeks, followed by tailored training and a successful launch on 18 April, with the council reporting a system that met its needs and a highly positive result.
