A PTV Group Case Study
Consultancy group TEMA Grupo was tasked with developing a sustainable urban mobility plan for the Spanish city of Valladolid. To evaluate different measures for the plan, they faced the challenge of creating a comprehensive transport model for the city's 300,000 residents. They turned to PTV Group, using the PTV Visum software to build this model.
Using PTV Visum, TEMA Grupo created a four-stage transport model to analyze mobility and evaluate the effects of proposed measures. This work directly supported the city's decision-making process and led to the successful implementation of the sustainable mobility plan. The results included a complete reorganization of the local bus network, which promoted more efficient transport modes and ultimately delivered better accessibility, safety, and an improved quality of life for the city's residents.
