PTV Vistro assesses traffic impacts for In-N-Out Burger’s new location

Sustainable Traffic Solutions, a Colorado-based traffic engineering consultancy, needed to prepare a traffic impact study for a new In-N-Out Burger location in Castle Rock. The project was high profile because of heavy anticipated demand and potential traffic congestion, so the team used PTV Group’s PTV Vistro software to evaluate opening day and future-year conditions.

With PTV Group’s PTV Vistro, Joseph Henderson quickly built the network, assigned traffic, and tested five scenarios to assess impacts, identify signal optimization and design improvements, and maintain safe operations on nearby roadways. The study supported the town’s approval process, the site development application was approved, and construction moved forward with the restaurant expected to open soon.
