City Country Foodservice optimizes its deliveries with PTV Route Optimizer

City Country Foodservice, a family-owned Queensland foodservice distributor, needed a faster and more accurate way to plan deliveries across its fleet of 17 vehicles. Its manual scheduling process took up to an hour and a half a day, made it difficult to provide reliable ETAs, and had to account for delivery timing, vehicle loads, and compliance requirements.

PTV Group implemented PTV Route Optimizer integrated with WebFleet PRO TRUCK 8275 to automatically optimize routes, transfer schedules to driver terminals, and give dispatchers full visibility of fleet status and delivery progress. The result was a 15% to 20% reduction in administration time, more than 10% lower fuel consumption, and a 10% reduction in distance travelled, while also improving customer service and operational efficiency.
