ANC Delivers, an Australian delivery company operating a fleet of 800 vehicles, needed a better way to manage scheduling, compliance, and route planning across urban and rural deliveries for major retailers. PTV Group provided PTV Route Optimiser to help replace manual planning and balance customer requirements with efficient delivery operations.

Using PTV Route Optimiser, PTV Group modelled historical delivery data into optimized routes that accounted for delivery type, time windows, breaks, vehicle and driver requirements, and installation jobs. ANC gained more consistent delivery allocation, safer and more achievable runs, less mileage and fuel use for contractors, and the capacity to handle more volume; one customer was able to schedule over 300 jobs in about 30 to 60 minutes, and The Good Guys reported a 95% on-time delivery rate after nearly two years of use.
