Case Study: Dallara achieves enterprise-wide secure product data sharing and increased efficiency with PTC Windchill

Dallara - Customer Case Study

Dallara, the Parma-based racecar chassis manufacturer, needed to consolidate and share product development data across design, manufacturing, purchasing and administration while enforcing lifecycle-based access controls and reducing duplication. To meet these goals Dallara turned to PTC, using PTC Creo for CAD and adopting Windchill PDMLink and Windchill ProjectLink to improve enterprise-wide communication, collaboration and secure access to design information.

PTC implemented Windchill PDMLink and ProjectLink (deployed on IBM BladeCenter JS22 servers running AIX with HACMP) and integrated them with Creo and Pro/INTRALINK. The result was a single, web-accessible source of accurate product data for all departments, full control of user access and versioning, elimination of duplicate data, faster approvals and improved project alignment—driving increased efficiency, performance and reduced costs across Dallara.
