Creo Helps JR Automation Maintain Stamina and Deliver Products

JR Automation, a Holland, Michigan–based global builder of integrated manufacturing systems and custom machines for industries such as automotive, medical devices and furniture, needed a flexible, standardized product development platform to maintain high-quality custom products and respond quickly to customer changes. To achieve this, JR Automation standardized on PTC’s Creo (along with PTC’s integrated application suite) to support a skeleton-model design approach and a single, company-wide development environment.

PTC implemented Creo with automated change propagation, an improved user interface, and tools for automated generation of tooling and manufacturing deliverables, enabling work to progress seamlessly from concept through manufacturing. As a result, JR Automation can move multiple areas of design forward in parallel, respond faster to customer changes, and saw a 10–15% improvement in concept development time along with faster data import—measurable gains that help sustain and grow its cross-industry customer base.
