Alstom, a global rail transport systems provider, needed a SysML tools supplier that truly understood the standard and could meet strict criteria for SysML/UML conformance, integration and extensibility, collaborative design across distributed teams, product-line management, and strong support. After evaluating leading options, Alstom selected PTC’s Integrity Modeler to support its systems engineering strategy.

PTC implemented Integrity Modeler as Alstom’s core modeling platform, enabling model-based systems engineering and product-line/variability modeling, shared SysML models across dispersed teams, and simulation/trade-study analysis. PTC’s solution improved design quality, consistency, and traceability, reduced effort, project design time and costs, increased productivity through model reuse, and strengthened communication and knowledge exchange among development teams and stakeholders.
