Airbus Helicopters Leverages PTC Partnership to Deliver Next-Generation Helicopter

Airbus Helicopters needed a PLM partner to ensure its next‑generation H160 helicopter would be delivered on time and to the required quality. The company engaged PTC (PTC Global Services) to implement a Windchill PLM backbone, alongside PTC tools such as Creo, Integrity, ThingWorx and Servigistics, to support design, lifecycle and service management.

PTC Global Services rolled out the Windchill PLM system and had the PLM backbone live in six months, under significant project pressure. The deployment improved configuration management and enabled concurrent engineering for product designers, allowing more efficient and accurate management of the H160 design and supporting Airbus Helicopters’ successful progress toward the aircraft launch.
