EADS, a global leader in aerospace and defense, faced the challenge of harmonizing enterprise PLM methods, processes and tools across its multiple business divisions to improve efficiency and integration. To address this, EADS selected PTC PLM as the sole provider for its PHENIX Master Product Definition backbone and adopted a Windchill-based approach (PHENIXCHANGE) to standardize PLM across the group.

PTC PLM implemented PHENIXCHANGE, a configurable, Windchill-based modular PLM platform that embeds common business processes into reusable modules and integrates with EADS’ core applications. The solution is deployed across multiple programs, enabling cross-divisional harmonization, reduced time-to-market and improved overall product quality, and is on track to deliver extensive long-term value to EADS.
