Lake City Federal Bank - Customer Case Study

Lake City Federal Bank, a single-branch community bank founded in 1934 with 18 employees and $68M in assets, faced an outdated document management system that could not capture or index teller transactions to the account level, offered no full-text search, and required costly pre-printed transaction tickets and manual scanning. Working with reseller EO Johnson, the bank selected PSIGEN Software’s PSIcapture as the capture component of a new solution to address these gaps.

PSIGEN Software’s PSIcapture was integrated with ClearTouch, PlanetPress and Square9 SmartSearch to automatically convert real-time teller transactions into indexed PDFs, route them to the repository, and batch-process end-of-day deposit tickets. The automated flow eliminated pre-printing, sped teller processing, reduced customer wait times, enabled account-level indexing and full-text searching, and produced significant cost and employee-time savings — a solution CFO Jeff Coats says is so seamless “most of the employees here don’t even know it’s there.”
