Mutual de Seguridad, a Chilean construction-industry mutual founded to support injured workers, was struggling with slow claim initiation — staff spent several hours per case manually reviewing and entering required documents, delaying payments and impacting workers. To address this bottleneck, PSIGEN Software was engaged to provide its advanced capture solution, PSIcapture, following a Microsoft-recommended proof of concept.

PSIGEN Software implemented PSIcapture to ingest mail and emailed documents within an Azure environment, perform OCR and automated classification, use database lookups for validation, and publish searchable PDFs to SharePoint Online. The automation significantly reduced claim processing time, improved accuracy and customer communication, lowered manual handling costs, and helped Mutual de Seguridad meet regulatory requirements.
