Kimball, Tirey & St. John LLP (KTS) is a full‑service California law firm that was struggling to manage 70,000 physical files stored across 175 file cabinets, creating costly warehousing, slow retrieval times and inefficient staff workflows. To move toward a paperless, more accessible system, KTS selected PSIGEN Software and its PSIcapture solution to scan, index and migrate documents into an electronic repository.

PSIGEN Software implemented PSIcapture (3 enterprise workstations) with 2 Canon DR9080c scanners and 1 Kodak 3520, using OCR to read, index and classify documents and migrating them to a web‑based retrieval system. The result: file retrieval in seconds, account executives able to handle case details on calls, reclaimed physical space, reduced labor costs, improved time management and higher customer satisfaction — and the solution has since been expanded from Collections into Accounting and Human Resources.
