The UK Civil Service needed to improve the quality and efficiency of hiring across 41 departments while becoming the UK’s most inclusive employer. To meet these goals on a tight timeline, the Civil Service worked with PSI True Talent on a new multimedia situational judgement test (SJT) and online assessment platform that would be engaging, accessible, and relevant across roles and levels.

PSI True Talent delivered a mobile-first, item-banked assessment built with extensive expert input and accessibility testing. The solution was adopted by 50+ departments, completed by over a quarter of a million applicants, reduced adjustment requests from disabled test takers by 80%, and saved the Civil Service £3.5M in manual sifting costs between January 2017 and October 2018.
