RMD Logistics - Customer Case Study

RMD Logistics, a contract logistics service provider, faced a challenge with its highly customized and costly software infrastructure. Their in-house solutions were difficult to adapt for smaller customers like start-ups, which limited their growth in that segment. To standardize its systems and serve a broader customer base, RMD Logistics turned to vendor PSI Software and its preconfigured WMS editions, including PSIwms GO.

The solution from PSI Software involved implementing different editions of PSIwms to create customer clusters based on process complexity. This led to the complete digitalization of process structures and allowed RMD Logistics to scale projects more effectively. A key result was the creation of a new business department, Fulfillmate, which uses the standard PSIwms GO edition to onboard smaller customers in as little as two days, opening up a significant new growth market for the company.
