Lürssen-Kröger Werft, a northern German shipyard specializing in mega-yachts, faced the challenge of managing highly complex, custom project structures and harmonizing its autonomous design and manufacturing processes. To modernize its operations and increase transparency, the shipyard partnered with PSI Software to migrate from a heavily customized legacy system to the latest, standard version of PSIpenta/ERP.

PSI Software implemented its ERP solution to closely map Lürssen's intricate project plans, which can contain up to 11,000 items. The solution successfully linked design and production, allowing for flexible and efficient control of manufacturing. As a result, Lürssen achieved its goal of mapping 80% of its requirements within the standard ERP system, significantly improving component planning, ordering, and overall process transparency across the entire project lifecycle.
