To modernize and improve efficiency amidst increasing product complexity, they partnered with vendor PSI Software to implement a solution using the PSIpenta/ERP system and a specific industrial app.

PSI Software's solution introduced a route-optimized picking list and an app for direct data posting into the PSIpenta/ERP system. This was combined with a new container-based storage system on transport trolleys. The implementation resulted in a 50% reduction in picking time and saved up to 30 minutes of assembly time per order. This allows FMB to reliably meet its production goals for up to four machines per day without requiring shift work.
