Santander, a major global banking group, needed to appoint a Head of Operational Risk Frameworks in the UK, but faced two key challenges: a very tight timeframe and a shortage of suitably experienced candidates. Psd Group was selected by Santander’s executive recruitment team to deliver an executive search for this senior risk role.

Psd Group used its Risk and Compliance expertise and senior consultant Gail Danvers’ network to quickly identify candidates, working over a weekend to meet the three-day longlist deadline. psd Group produced a detailed longlist, completed competency interviews, and submitted a shortlist within ten days; the chosen candidate was ultimately hired after being reintroduced to the client, and two other shortlisted candidates were also offered roles in Operational Risk.
