PRR, Inc. implemented a robust outreach solution that included over 200 door-to-door activities and 110 in-person community events, featuring bilingual staff and partnerships with local CBOs. This approach successfully prepared the community, and the project opened ahead of schedule and under budget to a record-setting celebration with over 16,000 attendees. The extension made the light rail system the second longest in the country, significantly improving regional mobility.
